“Zero tolerance for violence against women” a new themed competition that is a part of the World Biennial of Student Poster, organized by the University of Novi Sad and the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad. It is open to all young designers and students of art colleges under the age of 30.ENTRY DIVISIONS
All posters must represent original author works and need to answer the theme of the competition.COMPETITIVE CATEGORIES
Subject: “Zero tolerance for violence against women” All young designers and students of art colleges under the age of 30. One can take part with three works at most.HOW TO APPLY:
All received posters will become a part of a special Biennial's collection at the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad and can be used in didactic purposes. They will be presented at the Biennial's web site. By filling in the application form, the entrants accept the terms of the organizer of the Biennial exhibition. The Selection Board is entitled to reject those works that are not in agreement with the undisputed world standards on human rights to identity, nation, religion, language and the like. The organizers of the Biennial have no authorities to transfer any rights to third party in the sense of using and reproduction of works from the Biennial. The entrants accept that their work can be used in non-commercial purposes as well as in the promotion of the Biennial.SUBMISSION PROCEDURES
Poster entries MUST be submitted via this website as digital files, using the online ENTRY FORM. Through the electronic submission process, an entry form and labels will be automatically generated. Information on the entry form will be used in the exhibition’s catalog and other Biennial publications.PLEASE, CAREFULLY READ ENTRY GUIDELINES
BEFORE SUBMITTING POSTERS.
ENTRY GUIDELINES
- All posters must be submitted digitally through this Web site.
- Convert your Poster files to meet these condition:
JPG - quality 10, CMYK - 8 Bits/channel, 3900 pixels on the longer side
or
PDF - CMYK, 70 x 100 cm, 100 pixels/inch
In both cases, the file size must not exceed 12 MB - DO NOT SEND PRINTED COPIES. The WBESP will make print-outs for jury review, as well as exhibition prints of winning posters.
- DEADLINE: All entries must be received by 7th May 2022. There will be no extensions.
- There is no entry fee to the competition.
- Each student can participate with three (3) posters.
AWARDS AND PRIZES
The prizes and awards consist of: monetary prizes, plaques and certificates.STUDENT'S PRIZES
1st prize ……. €800
2nd prize ……. €400
3rd prize ……. €200
The posters will be judged by a five-member jury. In addition to the main prizes awarded by the jury, special prizes will also be presented by companies and individuals. The judges' decision is final and the winners will be announced at the opening ceremony of the exhibition “Zero tolerance for violence against women” in Novi Sad.
COPYRIGHT
The submitted posters must be designed by entrant. If the work has the intellective right or copyright dispute, the organizer will cancel the qualification of the entry right. The entrant must undertake all the consequences. The entrant should ensure the organizer not to generate any copyright or other intellective right dispute for the use of the posters. The organizer has the right to exhibit, publish (including digital publish) and collect the selected posters.CALENDAR
The deadline for the receipt of the entries is 7th May 2022.CATALOGUE
A colour catalogue of the contest “Zero tolerance for violence against women” will be published in digital form. It will include works of all participants selected for exhibition by the Selection Jury. Catalogue will be presented on Biennial website and ready for free download.ORGANIZER
